Back in the days of yesteryear the only way to alert comic book readers about new titles was through advertisements and editorial notes. These are preview ads that I’ve come across in old comics that I thought were cool.
House Ads
Similar to the ads for new comics another type of house ads were the ones advertising other comics already being produced by the publisher. These ads encouraged the reader to try other titles from the ones they were currently reading.
